Terms of use

Last updated 9 September 2026 · draft for legal review

The rules for using Upraise Academy. Written to be read, not to be survived.

1.Who you are contracting with

Depending on where you are and how you pay, your contract is with Upraise LTD, registered in England and Wales (company number 14495327, London), or with Upraise for Digital Solutions and Business LLC, registered in Alexandria, Egypt.

Your receipt names the entity that issued it. Both are operated by the same people and both stand behind the same course.

2.Your account

One person, one account. Sharing credentials so that several people take the course on one purchase is the one thing that ends access without a refund.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has it.

3.The course, and what it does not promise

The course teaches search engine optimisation and gives you graded tasks on a site you own. It does not promise a job, a ranking, a traffic figure or a client. Nobody honestly can — the outcome depends on your market, your site and your work.

There is no such thing as a Google SEO certification and we do not imply otherwise. Our certificate states that you completed the course and that a person assessed your capstone against five named marks. Nothing more is claimed.

4.Your work stays yours

The tasks you submit, the site you build and the writing you do remain your property. We store them to review and grade them and to show them back to you.

We may quote anonymised extracts from submissions to improve the course. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will not.

5.Our material stays ours

The videos, transcripts, templates and datasets are licensed to you for your own learning. Re-uploading them, reselling them or teaching from them is not permitted.

The practice datasets are anonymised exports from real properties. Do not attempt to re-identify the sites or people in them.

6.Changes

We add and re-record lessons; that is what lifetime access is for. If we ever have to change these terms in a way that affects what you bought, we will say so by email rather than by quietly changing this page.
